About the Space
This Mexican casita restaurant is OPEN only for filming and photoshoots. Not open to public or events. WHAT WE OFFER- -8000sf of restaurant / includes industrial kitchen with counters, no stoves or grills. -Restaurant is staged with lots of novelty furniture, red pleather booths, tables and chairs. -Indoor has lots of unique spaces for seating, dining tables, table clothes and decor, bar, bar seating, alley and outdoor area. -Located on a spacious parking lot which includes approx 75 cars. -Easy load in at the entrance. The building does have sound proofing, but you will still heard the street noise from the window that leads on Roscoe Blvd. Thats the only main area that has some noise. Through out the restaurant, no noise.

General Rules
TECH SCOUTS: Are additional cost. 1 hour - $99 / 2 Hour - $198. This gets added to end of booking.
START - FINISH: Your booking begins when you pull into the parking lot and ends when the last person leaves the site. Your production coordinator may arrive 15 min prior to booking to open the location and get situated.
OVERTIME: Overtime rate is ( 1 x ) = same hourly rate as the booking. Overtime is calculated in minimum 1/2 hour increments. I check in (1 hour prior) end of booking to see if you are ok with checkout time or need extra time. You have the option to extend booking as needed. OT hours will be added to end of booking.
EXTRA CAST/CREW: For every additional person on location on the shoot day beyond the contracted total, there will be a charge accordingly per tier (per peerspace hourly rate)
OVERNIGHT EQUIPMENT: If you have a 2-3 day filming and would like to leave your equipment/props overnight, there is a small fee of $125 per night. All equipment must be unplugged from outlets.
TRASH/REMOVAL: There are 3 standard black size trash bins outside the building. Please help us recycle! Use 1 trash bin for bottles, 2 trash bins for trash. At the end of your booking, please put the trash bags in the green area and we will remove them. If you have more than 3 trash bags, a large quantity of bags, props, broken props, not needed props that you are trashing. PLEASE TAKE ALL THE TRASH AND PROPS WITH YOU AT THE END OF BOOKING.
PARKING RULES: It's a large gated parking lot. If you are the only crew on site, you are welcome to park as you like. Sometimes we have 2 filming crews on site, including your crew (1 inside restaurant or home production set), if this is the case, I will assign parking areas for your crew and the other crew. This way everyone is comfortable on site! There's room for both parties and we've never had an issue. Crews will work together if needed to accommodate one another.
MULTIPLE FILM CREWS ON SITE: We've had multiple crews on site many times before and this only works depending on project/cast/crew size. WE WILL NEVER HAVE 2 FILM CREWS FILMING EXTERIOR SHOTS, unless okayed by both parties and me that they will not interfere with one another. (depends on which area you're filming/project/sound/cast/crew size.
WE WILL NEVER HAVE 2 LARGE CREWS AT THE SAME TIME!
If one crew has 30+, the other crew will have 15 or less.
Examples of multiple crews on site for the day: Both parties do not hear each other if both filming inside!
1. Filming only interior in the production set - parking next to production set (cast/crew 15-30)
1. Filming only interior in the restaurant - parking next to restaurant (cast/crew 15 - 45)
or
2. Filming exterior parking lot - parking next to production set(cast/crew 15-30)
2. Filming interior restaurant - parking next to restaurant (cast/crew 15-45)
LOADING IN/ OUT: Please park cars accordingly next to the space. Easy load in/load out.
UBER/ SHUTTLES: If you are departing by shuttle or ride sharing service, please pull up to the black metal gate. Production Coordinator will give you access how to get inside the property.
NEIGHBORHOOD: Canoga Park in a quiet commercial/residential neighborhood. Chick-a-filet is next door, closed Sundays. There is Starbucks that just opened next door to our location. Please do not film outside of our property unless permitted to do so.
PRODUCTION COORDINATOR: We ask for a single point of contact for the production on the shoot day. Please inform me who will serve as the Production Coordinator and provide her/his contact information. The Production Coordinator should be the first person to arrive at the property and the last one to leave. Her/his primary job is to make certain that everyone from the production is aware, understands, and follows all of our requirements/rules.
SITE REP: If you need a site rep please let me know in advance. Additional $35 per hour.
FURNITURE: When moving any and all furniture, equipment, props, or other, said items must be lifted NOT DRAGGED by two (2) people. Any damages to the floor will be billed to the Client. It can get very expensive, so please make sure the entire production team is aware. Placing mats or securing with tennis balls under all equipment, heavy props, etc. is required.
HAIR/MAKE UP: You can set up anywhere in the space you are provided.
FILM/PHOTO PERMITS: It is the sole responsibility of the Guest/Client to determine if they require a filming/photography permit from Film L.A. This location is not liable for any fines that the Guest/Client may incur due to the failure of securing a permit.
ALCOHOL/ILLICIT DRUGS: Alcohol and illicit drug use is strictly prohibited.
SMOKING/VAPING: Smoking/vaping nicotine products is NOT allowed inside the buildings. If someone is smoking outside, please make sure to throw butts in a designated area. Do not leave cigarette butts in the parking lot.
CHILDREN: Please let me know in advance if you will have children on site. Children must either have a babysitter or be supervised by their legal guardian and be responsible for the child safety.
CATERING/CRAFT SERVICES: All deliveries must be delivered at the entrance gate. There are no refrigerators in the restaurant. You can set up catering services as you like in the parking lot.
SHOOT DATES: 7 days a week.
GENERATOR: If necessary to bring a generator, it must be cleared with the property Owner.
CLEANING FEE: Guests must be respectful of the property and leave the premises clean. Standard cleaning fee is $150 for crews less than 15. For larger crews 16-30 is $300, 31-45 is $450.
WALK THROUGH: A walk through will take place before and after each shoot if Site Rep is on site. If no site rep for the shoot, please take photos when you arrive and send to me. If any damages incurred, we will discuss after maintenance/ cleaning crew has done a thorough check. The Production Coordinator will be permitted to photograph and/or film the premises during the walk through.
LOCATION PROMOTION: Owner reserves the right to publish any photos or video (including behind the scenes footage) from the shoot for the sole purpose of promoting the location.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
We clean and sanitize before and after every shoot.
Enhanced cleaning measures:
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
- Disposable gloves
- Disposable masks / face coverings
- Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
- Hand Sanitizer
The space has the following features:
- Capacity is limited based on governmental guidelines
- Space has access to outdoor air ventilation
- Space has additional space outdoors

Such a cool space! So versatile. And Nina, the host, is totally on top of it. Although she wasn't on the premises when we were shooting, she was always instantly responsive whenever I had a question.
