Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures
COVID-19 RULES & REGULATIONS: We require everybody to be wearing a mask and remain 6 feet apart. Please note that in addition to photographers, the model(s) must be wearing a mask at all times with the exception of their time physically in front of the camera. All team members working with models that have to come within 6 feet, must have eye protection as well as nose and mouth coverings. Sanitizer and paper towel will be provided in each studio. As well as an extra cleaning protocol has been put into place. Make-up station will remain closed. 10 people per studio room for commercial and retail photography 30mins between bookings. Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your shoot. Once you arrive we will take you directly into your studio without waiting. If you come earlier and the room is free and disinfected, we will take you inside and start/end your booking earlier. Otherwise, we will ask you to wait outside of the studio premises. MAKE-UP STATION: Our makeup station will be CLOSED until further notice. CLEANING AND PROTOCOL: We are sanitizing all areas and surfaces multiple times a day. Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
  • High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
  • Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
  • Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:
  • Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
  • Hand Sanitizer

The space has the following features:
  • Capacity is limited based on governmental guidelines
  • Space has access to outdoor air ventilation
  • Space has been reconfigured to allow for physical distance

About the Space

500 Square Feet - West Light The Cottage is a beautifully unique and rustic space with lots of natural light, exposed white washed brick walls, original wood beams, old factory windows, fireplace, decorative teal door and original hardwood flooring. Props are included in the rental.

Parking description
Our building has 2 parking lots on either end of the building. It is a shared lot with approximately 80 spots.

 
General Rules
Our staff will visit the studio room 10 minutes prior to the end of your booking to ensure that the room is left in its original condition. Furniture and props must be moved back to their original place, and all garbage must be placed into garbage cans. A $50 - $100 fee may apply if these rules are broken. If you need to move furniture, please lift the items, do not drag them. This damages both the floors and furniture legs. If you need assistance, please ask. Moving and using furniture from another studio you are NOT renting is not permissible. Fees will apply if this rule is broken. Broken furniture leg damage fee is $200, floor damage and deep scratches can range from $100-500 depending on the extent of the damage, furniture damage is subject to $100-500 damage fee. Please do not use any of the studios you are not renting. If you would like a tour of the other spaces, kindly ask our staff and they will be happy to assist you. Your booking is only for the room that you rented for the duration of the rental. If you require additional time to setup / takedown, please factor it into your booking. If you need extra time and the room is available, you can rent additional time in 30 minute increments. Garbage brought into the studio must be cleaned and put into garbage inside the studio. If there is garbage left behind, cleaning fees will apply. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items left in the common areas or left behind in the studio. If a member of your party comes to the studio intoxicated, we reserve the right to ask them to leave the premises. If you bring alcohol into the studio we reserve the right to ask you to leave the premise and your booking will not be refunded or credited. Smoking (including recreational drugs) is not permitted on studio premises. If a member of your party is caught we reserve the right to ask them to leave the premises and your booking may be cancelled and booking will not be refunded or credited. Please note that failure to respect the studio rules, studio staff, or other bookers, will result in immediate termination of your booking and can result in a permanent ban. Please bring all of your belongings into the studio rooms that you are renting and take them home with you after your photoshoot/event. We are not responsible for loss or damages to items left in the common areas. We do not store items for your rental booking ahead of the photoshoot or left behind after the shoot. If you need to arrange delivery/storage of items ahead of your event, please email us at email and we will advise you what we can do.

Security cameras and recording devices
 
We have cameras in our common areas only. They are in the co-working space and entrance into the art stalls.
Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
