About the Space
Hi my name is Mac and I am the owner of Sky Fire Ranch. I am currently serving active duty in the USMC and am stationed 20 minutes North West of the property on Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center. Sky Fire Ranch is located in Wonder Valley, which is 10 minutes east of Twentynine Palms. On the property there is an old house from 1953 that I live in with my girlfriend, and I also have 3 small "yurt-style" tents, and an RV from 1974 (named, "Betsy") that I rent out to guests. I have 3 neighbors that I rarely see, although we all get along very well and look out for each other. On my 5 acre plot I have 38 palm trees, and a beautiful little desert garden. I also have chickens, 2 kitty cats, and a pig. The land that surrounds my property is all owned by the Bureau of Land Management, so you really feel like you are in the middle of nowhere - although town is only about 5 minutes west. If you are interested in checking out any of the cool features that surround my house, such as the abandoned mines, awesome rock formations, and abandoned buildings, let me know. I'd be happy to take you there. I will be on the grounds to direct and assist the use of the land, and also to help out in any way that I possibly can. Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
