COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

We are dedicated to providing a clean and safe environment for all members. Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, our staff has implemented new social distancing and cleanliness guidelines that can be found posted in the building.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disposable masks / face coverings
Hand Sanitizer
Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels

About the Space

Our beautifully decorated, rustic indoor lounge boasts beautiful styling and large, south-facing windows with tons of natural light. Snag a picture in front of our unique dried floral arrangement wall made by a local Detroit artist. Set up an interview in front of our unique floral mural created by a local muralist. Every corner of this space holds endless opportunities for your next aesthetically pleasing moment. Our rooftop patio is positioned at that ideal height where you’re elevated enough to gaze at the iconic Detroit skyline but low enough that you feel like you’re part of the exciting hustle and bustle of Eastern Market. Our patio also has a semi-permanent tent from October through April that allows for year-round use of the space. We’re that unique solution that will please everyone, from your traditional grandma to your trendy niece. With the stunning skyline views and our upscale urban ambiance, you are guaranteed a photoshoot experience that you will never forget.

Our space has free street parking right in front of the building. Additionally, nearby free parking lots for Eastern Market are available pending availability.

Our south-facing windows allow for tons of natural light. Our space is consistently bright throughout the day.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

The inside portion of this space is not soundproof but is always very quiet. As part of a coworking space, quiet hours are observed throughout the workday. Our balcony is located on the street, but is fairly quiet during the week.

Equipment loading description

Our space is on the second floor and does not have an elevator. Our space has a back alley loading zone that is accessed through a back staircase. Our staff will direct guests to the loading zone and the correct staircase as needed.

No staging area available

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

Only the lounge, balcony, and restrooms are available for use for renters. Our private coworking area, downstairs cafe, and warehouse space is off-limits.

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

Circuit breaker can not be accessed

General Rules

- No smoking allowed in the building. - No food or drink allowed. - No guests allowed in the space until the scheduled rented time. - No glitter or confetti allowed.

All ages are allowed in the space

Production insurance is not required

Furniture and decorations may be moved

All wall decorations cannot be moved. Some furniture can be moved, pending permission from our staff.

No smoke machines allowed

No nudity allowed

Security cameras and recording devices

Our space has a security camera right outside of our building that captures all activity on the street and sidewalk outside of the space. Additionally, our upstairs lounge has two security cameras and our balcony has one security camera that is on 24 hours a day.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
