Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

We sanitize and disinfect all surfaces every day, and professionally have the space cleaned before and after events. The doors can be propped open for air circulation, and we have an AC unit with certified filters. We ask that trash is taken to the dumpster before you leave.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Disposable masks / face coverings
Hand Sanitizer

The space has the following features:

Space has access to outdoor air ventilation
Space has HEPA-certified air filters
Space has additional space outdoors
Space has been reconfigured to allow for physical distance
Capacity is limited based on governmental guidelines

About the Space

What activities work well in your space? Photoshoots are great within the space because we have lots of natural light, beautiful installations. Our space is also great for corporate gatherings, happy hours, CEO talks, or team outings. What is the layout of the space and how can different areas be used? Something that makes our space unique is that the walls are moveable, and we can create the layout to fit the needs of the client. What unique features or amenities does your space have? We have two restrooms, a built in bar in the back of the space where catering or a bar can be hosted.

Parking description

The parking lot is located on the north side of the gallery, and can host 30 cars. There are multiple parking lots surrounding the gallery, as well. The spots are uncovered, and free to park at.

General Rules

We do require that a staff member of SoCo modern be present during the rental time of the space. We do not allow smoking inside, or the use of anything that would harm artwork i.e. Bubbles or fire. If alcohol is being served, please be sure to have a TABC licensed person to handle the alcohol.

Security cameras and recording devices

We have multiple cameras within the gallery for security pruposes. The cameras record video, audio, and still images. There are not cameras located within the bathrooms, just the interior of the public gallery space.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
