Welcome to The SLO Backlots, a multi-use space near downtown San Luis Obispo! Our space is perfect for your small events. Intimate dinner gatherings, corporate workshops, or holiday parties are just a few events perfect for this space! THE BUILDING The SLO Backlots building is 4200 sq ft and designed for anytime you need an inspiring space for the day or night. THE TOP FLOOR The upstairs of the building entails an open lounge space, a private conference room, restroom, and kitchenette. Flatscreen TV's are located in both the open lounge and the conference room with Zoom capabilities. It's also where you'll find our Live Room, a space equipped with sound proofing and designed for content/photos/video/you name it! THE GROUND FLOOR The ground floor opens up directly off the private parking lot. It has double wide doors that can be opened for easy unloading and loading. You can even fit a car through them! They can be locked during an event or left open. The ground floor is a wide open space ready for you to take over and transform into whatever you need for your event. Our barn door draws the eyes right when you walk in and is a total statement piece! Don't forget to explore our vinyl collection and set the vibe on our record player. Not your thing? No worries! There are 4 Sonos players throughout the building that you can connect to and a flatscreen TV. You will also find a second kitchenette downstairs with tons of space, perfect for preparing curated dinners. Please contact us for options of renting the top or ground floor separately.
