The kitchen is equipped with: •Fridge •Microwave • Coffee maker •Kettle •Kitchen utensils (small amounts only, for events please bring your own disposable cutlery, glasses and plates) ———————————————————————— CAPACITY: maximum 30 people allowed (no exceptions) ———————————————————————— PRICING: DAY RATE: 7am-1am $110/hr (Monday to Thursday, minimum 2 hours WEEKEND DAY RATE: 7am-6pm $130/hr (Friday-Sunday, minimum 2 hours) EVENING: 6pm-1am $140/hr (Friday-Sunday, minimum 4 hours) Cleaning fee: $120 Group fee: $50 (groups of 11-30 people ) ———————————————- DECEMBER 2023 PRICING: DAY RATE: 7am-6pm $120/hr (Monday to Thursday, minimum 2 hours) EVENING RATE: 6pm-12am $140/hr (Monday to Thursday, minimum 2 hours) WEEKEND DAY RATE: 7am-6pm $160/hr (Friday-Sunday, minimum 2 hours) WEEKEND EVENING: 6pm-12am $170/hr (Friday-Sunday, minimum 4 hours) Cleaning fee: $120 Group fee: $100 (groups of 11-30 people ) —————————————————- RULES: -Client must provide a refundable damage deposit of $500. -Alcohol consumption must be moderate, (this is not a place to get drunk) -NO smoking of any kind is allowed in the studio. -NO cooking allowed (any catering and food must be delivered already cooked and only the microwave can be used to warm food) -NO sparks or flammable objects. -NO glitter or confetti -NO Candle wax dripped on floor, furniture or other surfaces -NO nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls -All activity must be contained within the unit; no activity permitted in the hallways -Rescheduling your booking is only allowed within 14days prior to your booking date ———————————————————————— Damage deposit: deposit is to be paid either in Cash or e-transfer 24 hours prior to booking date, and it is refunded in full at check-out if no damage occurs. ———————————————————————— Optional Add ons: -HD projector and 120” projector screen: $50 ——————————————————— COVID-19 CANCELATION POLICY: Cancelations related to Ontario COVID-19 lockdown receive full money back at anytime. cancelations due to clients or guests testing positive for COVID-19 are not entitled to a refund. ————————————————————————- PARKING: The studio doesn't include parking but these are some options: 1) large grade-level public parking at the corner of Bay and Edward Street (right in front of the old greyhound bus terminal) 2) across the street at the Atrium on Bay (underground parking) the entrance is on Edward Street. 3) across the street at the Canadian Tire (underground parking) 4) There is also street parking on Edward st. ———————————————————————— ACCESSIBILITY Although we do our best to accommodate all clients, we are not situated in a fully accessible building. We are located on the 4th floor of an old building that only has manually operated elevator access. Elevator service is available, free of charge, during normal building business hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. If elevator service is required for you or guests after 5pm or on a weekend, please notify us as soon as possible so we can assist in arranging an after hours elevator operator with the building. All after hours use requires separate billing to the building landlord’s elevator operator at a rate of $15/hr for a minimum three hour booking. Please ensure to notify us of any accessibility requirements at the time of your booking so that arrangements can be made. The elevator operator is a distinct service apart from the offerings of Canarts Media and cannot be guaranteed. ———————————————————————— ELEVATOR: -We are 4 floors up, there is an elevator manually operated by our superintendent Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. -The elevator operator is available after 5pm and on weekends for an extra cost ($15/hr) -Face masks are mandatory only inside the elevator. ———————————————————————— MINIMUM AGE: although we allow all ages, the person booking and responsible of the studio must be 21 years old or older. ———————————————————————— OVERTIME overtime will be billed in half-hour increments. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. ———————————————————————— CLEANING / DAMAGES although we charge a cleaning fee, we appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours. Please take great care of our space. All damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be discounted from your damage deposit and/or billed to the credit card on file with Peerspace. ********Please be considerate of your booking time and make sure to leave the studio within your scheduled time, otherwise overtime fees will apply********** We do our best to accommodate our guests needs. great space! small issue is its hard to get upstairs if u have a lot of equipment as you have to rent the elevator for an additional cost since it is an old manual one or else you have to walk up a lot of stairs

This is a very nice event space. We hosted a surprise bridal shower here and 30 people have plenty of room to play shower games, dance and mingle during the party. My top reasons that I chose this space besides the location is that it has an Open layout - we wanted space for games and a little dancing. Well lit and decorated - the customized led lights was a great touch. Fully furnished - loved the classy art work and decors 😍👌 (feels like your hosting at your own home) Bonus: built in wall plant (backdrop) for your photobooth/ party photos. We didn't need to do much for the party decorations 😉😊. As for the host, Darwin and Ephraim ( or is it Efrain) has been very helpful and accommodating and even let us borrowed an extra table (no charge) 😊. I also appreciate that they return the "damage deposit" at the same night. Very prompt and professional host 👍. Will definitely book again at this gorgeous space.

This was such a great event space, the decor was fantastic along with all the amenities such as the LED lights. The host was extremely helpful throughout the entire night, answering any questions I had! Would definitely book again, highly recommend.

Space was so beautiful I loved it! The host was very nice and attentive. Make sure you book the elevator as it was horrible going up and down 4 flights of stairs with all of our party stuff. It was my bridal shower and I ended up getting injured from carrying stuff. Everything else was amazing. Will be booking again but with the elevator.
