About the Space
Archway Cottage is a beautiful large vintage cottage-style home very close to downtown Kansas City on an acre of hillside with 300-year-old oak trees and decorated as cute as can be. Located in the Village of Oaks, so not technically in Kansas City proper. Ten minutes north of downtown. Kansas City International Airport is 15 minutes north of us. A warm and toasty fire pit and eclectic Barn Bar are Instagrammable! The old-English style brick patio with moss and a colossal, vine-covered oak tree could be an Ireland set! Cool vintage bar inside as well as huge sunroom with 65-inch TV and seating for 12 or more. Indoor events may be limited in capacity to 25 guests. Outdoor events can perhaps accommodate 40. It's as close to a Thomas Kinkade painting as you will find on Peerspace. NOTE: 1] Outdoor filming can accommodate up to 40. Additional fees apply. 2] Weekend rates are higher. 3] Holiday rates are 1.5X and must be booked via a special offer. Please message if you are attempting to book on or near national holidays. Uses: - Photo Shoots (we've hosted modeling shoots) - Film Shoots (we've hosted film shoots) -TV shows (ABC News, Netflix have shot here) - Video Recording - Music videos (so far two pop music videos shot here) - Content Creation (we have an Anchorman/Ron Burgundy newsroom in the basement used on Cameo.com often) - Interviews - Events - Weddings - Group Meetings - Baby Showers - Bridal Showers - Birthday Parties (we can accommodate large inflatable play equipment) - Dinner Parties - Picnics - Firepit or Campfire Events

Health and Safety Measures
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

We had a great experience at this beautiful home! The owner was on site to answer any questions and assist with parking, but also gave us plenty of space to host the event. The house and yard are absolutely beautiful!

This space is absolutely beautiful. I had dozens upon dozens of comments on how beautiful the home was, the area, the decor…everything! The hosts are so friendly and helpful. Everything about this venue was an absolute delight!!!

Super easy to book this large home for a filmed interview for a TV program. The house has a diverse offering of space, backgrounds, and settings. For our purposes, it had a very large sun porch that is great for a multi-camera interview, due to the large space and high ceilings. It's very close to the airport, so we did experience some noise disturbances, but it was also handy for transportation purposes. The owners are incredibly quick to respond and very accommodating.

They went out of their way to personalize birthday signs for my husband, which was so unexpected and just above and beyond. The hosts are wonderful, communicative, and available. David and Linda are the best hosts! They were very accommodating to our schedule changes and were always around to answer any questions - even while they were on vacation. Their home is very spacious and is perfect for accommodating larger film crews. Their two car garage really streamlines both staging and loading out gear. Would highly recommend to any film crews.
