About the Space
Creative Studio 1-1, a 500 sq foot loft, boasts 12+ foot ceilings, a mirrored wall, and outward-facing, oversized windows for tons of natural light. The space accommodates up to 40 people, has acoustic installation along with sound dampening, and versatile lighting. Starting at $52 an hour, Space 1-1 can be customized with requested furniture to fit your every need! Our versatile space is conveniently located just steps from Penn Station and is close to all subway lines. Made up of 13 individual studios, Creative can accommodate multiple room bookings and a plethora of uses. Each studio has Wi-Fi, acoustic insulation, and versatile lighting. We are located in a doorman building, with staff on site. Studios feature oversized windows in exterior facing studios, 12+ foot ceilings throughout, hardwood floors, and access from dedicated extra wide hallways. The floor has three bathrooms (1 ADA accessible), and has cold and sparkling water available. Suitable for Film & Photo Shoots, Meetings, Presentations, Workshops, Interviews/Small Castings, Fittings, Yoga/Fitness classes, Movement/Improv classes, and more! For castings and auditions, please contact us about if you will be needing a waiting room. For multiple studio bookings, please contact us for a custom offer. We also offer custom quotes for multi-day and after-hours bookings. Please send us an inquiry for student and non-profit discounts. Bookings of less than 3 hours may be made within 24 hours of the event, if booking needs to be made further out please contact us. Electricity is provided 100% by renewable (wind) energy. - The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.

We had a miserable experience on Sunday. We were trying to conduct a meeting with people from out of town, and some church group raised such a holy ruckus we could barely hear ourselves speak. They played loud music incessantly and were screaming and yelling for hours. Your representative on the scene was no help at all. They seem to be regulars at the space on Sundays, and make life miserable for everyone else on the floor. If you can't control your rooms, you should warn renters about it. Or better yet, don't rent to people who ruin everyone else's experience. You should refund our money for Sunday. Our meeting was a disaster.

Management was rude. Started off nice and ended up being a poor experience because they booked us next to a group sining music when they knew we were there for a film shoot which we needed quietness around us. They did nothing about it and when we moved rooms due to the noise and being unable to work, they got really upset with us instead of showing understanding. I would not use this space again.
