About the Space

*Please enter start time, end time, and estimated attendees to reflect estimated event total* Our studio is nestled in the heart of Austin's east side, just minutes from downtown with easy access to I-35. We are close to a grocery store, liquor store, many venues and nightclubs, and some residential areas. Our space is similar to a warehouse, so we share a courtyard parking lot with neighboring businesses. For this reason, we prefer advance notice (at least 3 weeks) for indoor/outdoor events. The studio has a full-sized garage door, house projection screen, portable video monitor, metal and wooden accents, and a parking lot with up to 20 spaces available. Pricing is $150, $185, or $195 per hour depending on the day of the week and time of day. Please be sure to enter the date and time desired for your event for accurate pricing information. Our studio/club of Monks Jazz has a capacity of 50-60 (depending on your desire layout inside), and events larger than 60 require opening the garage to use the entire complex. Audio and Video Recording of your event and use of our PA system are available for an extra fee.

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Couldn't have wished for a better space to host Festivus. The location is close to anything you might need, the atmosphere inside is unmatched, and it is all topped off by a truly wonderful host in Collin. I'm already looking forward to next year!

This place was amazing to work at. It is not sound proof but we were able to get through an entire day of shooting with only a couple times having to pause for a loud car or plane overhead. Collin was super helpful the entire day and made sure whatever we needed got done.

This was the best experience I've ever had on Peerspace! Collin went above and beyond in helping us out with our shoot - he even used his Blackmagic 6K camera and helped us capture some footage (which looks amazing)!! Simply cannot recommend this place enough, they have the capabilities here to do everything you could possibly need.
