All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
About the Space
*Please enter start time, end time, and estimated attendees to reflect estimated event total* Our studio is nestled in the heart of Austin's east side, just minutes from downtown with easy access to I-35. We are close to a grocery store, liquor store, many venues and nightclubs, and some residential areas. Our space is similar to a warehouse, so we share a courtyard parking lot with neighboring businesses. For this reason, we prefer advance notice (at least 3 weeks) for indoor/outdoor events. The studio has a full-sized garage door, house projection screen, portable video monitor, metal and wooden accents, and a parking lot with up to 20 spaces available. Pricing is $135, $160, or $195 per hour depending on the day of the week and time of day. Please be sure to enter the date and time desired for your event for accurate pricing information. Our studio/club of Monks Jazz has a capacity of 50-60 (depending on your desire layout inside), and events larger than 60 require opening the garage to use the entire complex! Audio and Video Recording of your event and use of our PA system are available for an extra fee.

There are about 20 spaces available in our parking lot after 6pm, and plenty of street parking is also available. (Our studio has 3 dedicated parking spaces between 9am-5pm)
General Rules
OVERTIME
Per Peerspace's policy, overtime will be billed in half-hour increments. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments at a rate of 1.5 times our stated hourly rate.
CLEANING / DAMAGES
Cleaning fee is included in the hourly rate, although guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours.
Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed to the credit card on file with Peerspace.
FURNITURE
Please notify us in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your event needs.
MISCELLANEOUS
There is no smoking allowed in the space. No glitter or confetti can be used. There is no open flame or frying allowed on site or any cooking that will create a large amount of smoke as our facility is not ventilated.

We have two security cameras in continual use in our facility. One is near the front door and the other is above the office space.
Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
