About the Space
This is a working, ground-floor, VFW bar in Park Slope. Long wooden bar with a triple mirror back wall in front of a fully stocked selection of drinks, beer taps, counter along wall opposite to bar, hardwood floor, tiled bathroom. Bar stools, folding tables and chairs that can be put away or used. Americana decorations that can be taken down. Perfect for film or TV shoots, interviews, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s period shoots, gangster scenes. Can be remade as a speakeasy, restaurant, private club or lounge setting. Space also includes an old Brooklyn staircase and hall that can be used as a filming location or as a makeup staging area.

Lighting description
This working bar has ceiling lights and bar track lighting. Two windows in the front can let in natural light, or the blinds can be closed. The private outdoor patio has natural light.
Space is not soundproof
Ambient noise description
This ground floor space is quite quite. Some white noise from the nearby Prospect Expressway, the occasional car horn or truck rumble.

Equipment loading description
There are two doors. The front door is 100% street level. The backdoor requires one to climb four stairs. There is usually ample parking on the adjacent 18th street, including for a truck. Trucks only need be moved if they interfere with alternate side cleaning.
Staging area is available
There is a back hallway / staircase that can be used as a staging area. There is also a private outdoor patio that can be used as a staging area. Both of these areas can also be used for a shoot.
Some rooms are off-limits for shooting
The upstairs of the space is off limits, however, for hallway, staircase shoots the crew can climb the stairs and shoot from the top of the hall.
Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

This is a working bar. To move items, especially the alcohol, we will provide a staff member at no extra charge to assist.

We have a staff member who can supervise and assist moving of furniture. His name is David and he is the main contact for the space.

Health and Safety Measures
This is a working bar and is regularly cleaned according to New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene guidelines, as well as subject to inspections. In addition, it is professionally cleaned (surfaces are wiped down again, bathroom is cleaned) before each booking.
Enhanced cleaning measures:
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
- Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
- Hand Sanitizer
- Disposable gloves
