About the Space
This is the entire second floor of a VFV bar, an event space with a PA system, two bathrooms, an empty bar that can be used for shoots and a very large open space with natural light. Also available for shooting is an old Brooklyn staircase and hallway, as well as an outdoor patio which can double as a staging / makeup area. Perfect for restaurant scenes, gambling scenes, interview, TV and film shoots, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s period shoots, old school social club scenes, apartment mockups.

Ambient noise description
The building is on a street corner and pretty isolated. Some white noise from the nearby Prospect Expressway. The occasional car horn or truck rumbling by.
Crew access
Equipment loading description
There is ample street parking on adjacent 18th Street and across the Prospect Expressway. Trucks are fine, just check the signs for alternate side cleaning. Equipment must be carried up one flight of stairs. There is a private patio on street level that can be used as as staging area.
Staging area is available
One of the two bathrooms can be used as a staging area for makeup, wardrobe, etc. The outdoor patio can also be used as a staging area.
Some rooms are off-limits for shooting
The bar downstairs (a working VFW bar) is off limits without express permission.
Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

Health and Safety Measures
This space is the rental events space for a working bar and is regularly cleaned according to New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene guidelines, as well as subject to inspections. In addition, it is professionally cleaned (surfaces are wiped down again, bathroom is cleaned) before each booking.
Enhanced cleaning measures:
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
- Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
- Disposable gloves
- Hand Sanitizer
