Photography & Content Creating Space in Montgomery County

Welcome to our studio! For bookings more than 60 days out, message me to open the date. **For shoots after 7pm, message me for availability (rate is $35/hr)** Located in Rockville, MD less than a mile from the Shady Grove metro/ICC (MD Route 200) and a few miles from I-495, our new studio is a much-needed addition to the MoCo/DMV area, and is the perfect place for a photo shoot without having to travel far. We’re 30 minutes from DC/PG County/Frederick, and our goal was to design a space for creatives to collaborate, get inspired, and create. The studio includes: *A green room for hair/makeup, dressing, lounging—complete with a microwave, fridge, and complimentary light drinks/snacks. *We are Alexa-enabled with premium Spotify access. A fire stick is also plugged into the waiting room TV to unwind in between takes. *The main photography room houses a backdrop area with plenty of space (we have a few props, but you are welcome to bring your own). *There are multiple shopping centers nearby for food and supplies (Home Depot, Best Buy, fast food, beauty supply, etc.). The team here are creators themselves, so we are always adding new features/equipment to grow the space. There’s always something new here! The studio has a private entrance, updated restroom, and ample parking. While your time here is mainly self-hosted (we will provide you instructions for entering upon booking), we CAN have a host on-site if you prefer. INCLUDED WITH YOUR BOOKING: -BASIC lighting equipment (generic softbox and umbrellas) -Wifi -Fog machine -Multiple large cloth backdrops (black, white, green, gray, red, light pink, sequined, etc)--we will steam ONE cloth backdrop upon request. If you need any additional, we have a steamer on site for you to use. -Multiple RGB lights (basic panel and stick lights) -1 heavy-duty C-stand -Lightweight stands, 4 sandbags, small equipment, and much more. *No strobes/triggers Contact us if you need more information. Cloth backdrops are provided free of charge. Small paper backdrops (53") are $7 per pull, and large (86" & 107") are $12. You can pull as much as you need, but please don’t use more than necessary (as they are expensive). Available paper backdrop options: **As of 09/06/2022, white backdrops are only available in 86"*** • Green/Blue (107”) • Light Yellow/Light Blue/White (86") • Bright Yellow (about six feet left as of 09/04/22)/Mocha/Blue (53”) Please allow time for set-up and break down time in your booking, it is not included. Going past your booked time will result in another hour being charged. We are in our own private unit, but have neighbors who work during standard business hours. No loud music or excessive noise, please. The space isn’t sound-proof, but is very quiet. We’ve recorded multiple shoots in the photography room with audio without disruptions. After-hours and weekends are best for audio and you have access to the thermostat to turn off if needed. PLEASE NOTE: The photography room is 31 ft long by 13.5 ft with 8 ft ceilings.
