Private studio with 2 large south facing windows, perfect for using as a daylight studio, portrait studio, or fashion studio. Space is ideal for photography of all types (Food, product, headshots, etc). Also makes for a great space to use for small meetings or fittings for fashion designers. Space is divided up so half for shooting area, half meetings area with couch and chairs but studio can be arranged to fit your needs. Studio has AC and heating, a mini fridge for water and snakes as well as a coffee maker if you wish to make coffee. Also, located on the same floor is a kitchen area with microwaves, sinks, and a large fridge if you need to store food (all food left behind will be thrown away). We also have a vending machine for snacks and we are located just a 2 blocks away from a lot of amazing restaurants on Frankfort ave. Studio also has an elevator, however it's rated for 1000lbs so it can be using for extremely heavy loads.

Lighting description

2 large windows that lets in a lot of natural light. Light can be controlled. Brightest time of the day is a little after 1pm when the sun starts to set.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

Studio isn't soundproofed but sounds doesn't travel very far in building; however, as a curtesy to others in building, I do ask to try to keep volumes from being too loud.

Equipment loading description

There is a loading zone in front of gate and a ramp up to the elevator. I do not have key to open main gate so you would be able to pull truck in to unload, will have to walk them through gate. Freight elevator is rated for 1000lbs Anything heavier must be walked up the stairs.

No staging area available

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

Shoots must be kept inside studio. If you wish to shoot around the building, I must be present. No shooting on roof on building or in courtyard.

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

Electrical system description

Circuit breaker located in closet, if anything happens, please let me know. There are outlets on every wall except the brick wall.

Furniture can be moved into hallway or closet (if it fits) if needed.

Security cameras and recording devices

Small video cameras are used for insurance and security in main studio area and equipment closet. Camera isn't set up to watch video in real time to protect your privacy. Video is only saved and reviewed if something goes missing, is broken, or an injury takes place in the studio. Otherwise, all footage is erased within a 24hour period.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

After each booking, windows will be opened to recirculate the air. All surfaces will be sprayed/wiped down with lysol after each book and all trash will be removed.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Disposable masks / face coverings
Hand Sanitizer

The space has the following features:
