About the Space

Come one, come all! This cute and cozy natural light studio is ready for just about any type of session - boudoir sessions, couples sessions, family sessions (up to five people), branding/professional headshot sessions. The low profile neutral furniture is set up in a way that allows photographers and their clients to maintain a safe distance while still capturing photos at a variety of different angles. The studio is set up with minimal decor, so it can easily be modified to your own liking. Use your own decor, or choose from a range of options including pillow covers, curtains, throw blankets, vases, and other neutral/seasonal items available for your use at no additional charge. Book for 8 hours, and save 10 percent off your rental plus get an extra 20 minutes of setup/tear down time!

There is approximately 20 parking spaces available for clients and employees.

Lighting description

There are three windows that offer great natural lighting throughout the day even on cloudy days. The double curtain rods are fitted with light filtering and blackout curtains, which can easily be changed out for different colors/variations.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

There are currently only three other small businesses in the building, and all of them are appointment based, so it is typically pretty quiet and low traffic throughout the day.

Equipment loading description

There is ample space in front of the building for vehicles to park temporarily while they are loading and offloading equipment to and from the main lobby area.

Staging area is available

The natural light studio is adjoined to another room that can be used as a temporary staging/setup area. There are also private bathrooms directly across the hall from the studio.

All rooms are available for shooting

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

General Rules

- Consumption of tobacco or marijuana products of any sort (including vaping) is not allowed on the premises. - Consumption of alcoholic beverages is not allowed on the premises. - Food and beverages should not be consumed on the furniture. - Be respectful of other businesses and clients in the building. - Modify and adjust the space to your liking when you are using it, but please return the space back to the way you found it before you leave.

Production insurance is required

Renters must be appropriately licensed and insured for their industry in Washington state.

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Feel free to move the furniture, but please return it back to the way you found it when you are done. You are also welcome to change out any of the decor, including the wall decor, but do not use nails, tacs, push pins or anything that will cause damage. There are 3M strips and hooks available for your use.

No smoke machines allowed

Security cameras and recording devices

For the safety and security of both clients and employees, the common areas of the building as well as the production studio are equipped with video and audio monitoring devices. The natural light studio is not monitored. If there is need for extra privacy in the production studio, please let the host know.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Health and Safety Measures

While the studio is in use, it is the renters responsibility to ensure they are taking the appropriate safety and health precautions to include cleaning and sanitizing in between their client sessions. The studio staff will perform enhanced cleaning in between bookings when the studio is not in use.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Hand Sanitizer
Disposable gloves

The space has the following features:

Capacity is limited based on governmental guidelines
Space has access to outdoor air ventilation
Space has been reconfigured to allow for physical distance
