COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

All surfaces (tables, seats, etc.) are wiped down and disinfected. Trash is taken out and bathrooms are cleaned as well. When booking with us, we expect the same level of cleanliness from you and your guests!

Enhanced cleaning measures:

Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

About the Space

Our event venue located in the heart of Third Ward! We have indoor space that comfortably seats 50 people and includes a bar, stage, DJ booth, and selfie area. We also have an outdoor patio area that comfortably seats 20 people. When booking with 6-1-8, you have access to indoors and outdoors.

Parking description

6-1-8 utilizes a parking lot on the corner of Scott and Dennis. When that lot is full, we also utilize a parking lot across the street on the corner of Scott and McGowen. Street parking is available when both lots are full.

General Rules

- Outside decorations are allowed. We allow one free hour of setup. Any extra time needed to setup will need to be accounted for in the amount of hours that you book. - A DJ of your choice is allowed. -Entertainment of your choice is allowed. -We allow non-ticketed and ticketed events at 6-1-8. -Hookah and vaping are the only smoking allowed inside. Any other smoking must be done outside. -Outside catering is allowed. ALCOHOL OPTIONS (we do not sell alcohol) 1.) You can book a mobile bartender and have an open bar for your guests. 2.) You can book a mobile bartender and have your guests pay him/her for their own drinks. 3.) You can have your guests bring their own alcohol and they can individually pay our BYOB fee of $5. 4.) You can choose to not have alcohol at all.

6-1-8 has a total of 2 security cameras on the inside of our venues to ensure safety of our guests.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
