Amy C. booked a maternity photo shoot for 4 people
Advertising was correct, administration/communication was extremely lacking. I was fortunate we were able to be squeezed in for an hour, as the host seemed very flexible. Booked for a maternity shoot for myself (36 weeks pregnant) my two year old, husband, photographer and drove 1 hour + to this location. Up until the actual day, the host was very responsive. The initial correspondence stated the host would email us the lockbox code "early the day of" the booking. Our booking was 12:30, I woke up to nothing from the host or peerspace and messaged the host stating we're driving an hour + to the space, and looked forward to having the lockbox code for a smooth transition. We arrived at the location at 12:00 and still had no email or code. I started messaging the host on peerspace, calling, and texting the host # that was provided asking for the lockbox code, to no prevail. It wasn't until 1PM the host texts back "did you get in?" without providing any further information. The lockbox code was eventually provided, 30 minutes after the original booking, and we were told peerspace was supposed to send us an email with the lockbox code, which contradicted the original statement by the host. When we finally were able to enter the space, we tried to make the best of the lousy situation we were put in, with now a cranky two year old, a photographer (who we had to compensate extra since we kept her past the agreed time) and myself who just wanted photos of the happiest time of my life. The host did state we could stay to 2PM, (1-2) instead of 1:30PM to make up for their shortcomings. I hope this was an isolated incident and the proper steps were taken to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else in the future.
