About the Space

MINIMUM 4 HOUR BOOKING. Please don't message us asking for less. It is not worth us taking bookings for an hour or two due to the booking fee and tax deducted from the total. The space is clean and minimal with simple designer furniture to complement your shoot. Ideal for all types of photo and film shoots. Large windows provide great light even on dull days. Good access for loading furniture and a driveway for storing gear and props if needed. The top floor has a panoramic window with a view of a large oak tree.

Parking description

We have a one space on the driveway plus visitor parking vouchers for the residents bays on the street at £10 each paid on the day.

Lighting description

We have large windows and sky lights with lots of natural light. There is direct light and shadows in most of the windows during the afternoon since the rear of the house faces West. The front of the house faces East so has the morning light.

Space is soundproof

Ambient noise description

The stairs have been placed across the front elevation of the house to act as a sound barrier to the road though this is not a busy street. It's a quiet residential area.

Equipment loading description

Equipment is usually placed under the stairs. Please use the rubber mats provided to protect the floors in all areas. If bringing a lot of equipment, we advise renting an easy-up to place on the drive and store equipment there which is secure when the front gates are closed.

Staging area is available

We can set up a table under the stairs in front of a large mirror for Hair and Make-Up. There is a guest bedroom with a 4ft rail for styling/wardrobe.

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

The middle floor kids and master bedroom is off-limits. This is our area to hide away during shoots. There is plenty of space in the rest of the house for you to use.

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

Electrical system description

The fuse box is located in the kitchen behind a wall panel to the right of the kettle. In the unlikely event of the RCD tripping, this can be found in the Tool Shed outside. Please call or ask us for access.

Circuit breaker can be accessed

General Rules

Guests will kindly remove shoes once inside the property. No Smoking inside but in the garden is fine. No shoots after 11pm. We have a list of info and rules at the house. Overtime must be requested at least 15 minutes before the scheduled finish time and is charged at 1.5x the hourly rate.

All ages are allowed in the space

Production insurance is required

Please provide proof of your Public Liability Insurance prior to the shoot. A minimum cover of £5M is required and it must include damage to property.

Furniture and decorations may be moved

The sofa is on felt sliders so can be pushed across the floor. Pictures are on sliding hooks so can be lifted up and off the wall by no less than two people. Please store carefully with the glass facing a wall. Please do get in touch if you think you may need to remove furniture from the house.

Health and Safety Measures

We expect guests to clear and tidy up so that we can disinfect all surfaces after the shoot.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
