All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
About the Space
Welcome to our plant paradise! We offer a gorgeous, massive corner unit flooded with light from southwest-facing windows which illuminate over a dozen plants, including palm trees and tropicals like banana leaf, dark cardinal, alocasia, dracaena, and many more, including hanging plants on our walls. Hardwood floors and exposed brick provide a warm, inviting atmosphere. Elevator access with no stairs whatsoever. Private bathroom in the studio, along with access to a conference room and kitchen for an additional fee per hour. We ask that you book your event including set-up and clean-up, each an hour. We're happy to help you with both to expedite the process. Our space is situated just a five-minute walk from the Morgan stop on the L train and thus close to many restaurants, bars and shops in the East Williamsburg/Bushwick area like Roberta's. We rent folding chairs and tables; you are not allowed to rent them from an outside vendor. Please find them within the add-ons section. NO PARTIES NO GLITTER/CONFETTI NO DJS OR DJ EQUIPMENT

I have book with Matka at another location they have and it was great BUT THIS LOCATION IS BEAUTIFUL and the view at sunset ❤️😍!!!!!!! Super spacious clean well kept and the building was also nice!…Matka was super helpful and responded super quick!… Erica was a great host gave us access and showed us all we needed to know about the space! Super smooth process and professional. I will definitely book again and recommend!!

This is an incredible space. The host was amazing, patient and very flexible. I would 1000% rent this space again. I hosted a surprise engagement/proposal for my sister and we had about 35 people come and it was amazing. Thank again. I wish I could share picture.

I had an amazing experience booking this space- it was my first peerspace booking and it couldn't have gone smoother. Matka and Erica were incredibly communicative and prompt in their responses. The space is beautiful- much more in person and there is a lot of equipment on-hand that is helpful for running an event or shoot. The furniture and plants on-hand add a great feel to the space and doesn't require additional decorating (or minimal to your unique taste). The unit is air conditioned and I also appreciated that the entire building, and entrance is nicely renovated which always enhances the experience for visitors. I highly recommend!
