About the Space

This space is a content and lifestyle studio located in Philadelphia, PA. Our studio’s industrial setup and natural lighting are perfect for your visual needs. This space is ideal for small to medium productions, we provide plenty of styled sections and props that can be used during rentals. The 1620 square foot studio features high ceilings, concrete floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows that bring in ample natural light. Situated on the 3rd floor of an industrial park, our studio space is thoughtfully designed to provide a calming venue for photographers and creative entrepreneurs to host their own photoshoots, workshops, and events.

Parking description

There is free parking on the nearby streets and a parking lot located on the back of the building that is available for use in non-reserved parking spaces.

Lighting description

Large windows with a view of Philadelphia skyline as well as the Market Street Line. There are two V flats and a 6'x6' diffusion panel that can be set up and moved throughout the space to control and divert light. The brightest times of the studio are around 1PM EST to 3PM EST as the sun is setting, the light can be very strong.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

The floor the studio is on is pretty quiet and also at the end of the hallway so it's not a lot of building noise. The studio is however mostly concrete but it's a lot of furniture in the space so the internal echo isn't very bad. For any serious audio recording, sound proofing or sound blankets would suggested. The Market street line runs every 25-35 minutes depending on the day so that the most prominent and consistent outside noise. The ventilation system is on going so it can't be turned off.

Equipment loading description

There is a parking lot behind the building with a loading zone. The front of the building has a ramp for wheel chairs but the loading area behind the building does not. Loading trucks need to be moved after unloading, there is usually a good amount of space in the parking lot to park in designated parking areas.

Electrical system description

There is a breaker in the space but accessing the circuit breaker should be left to the studio manager or rep at the time. There are several outlets throughout the space and the circuit breaker is on the wall near the front of the studio.

General Rules

No smoking in the building No children, unless they are a part of the shoot/production No pets allowed All items and studio space must be left in the same state it was found Outside catering is allowed

All ages are allowed in the space

Production insurance is not required

Furniture and decorations may be moved

All guests are free to move furniture to fit their needs. Furniture should not be dragged as it leaves marks on the studio floor so any heavy furniture (desks, couches, tables, etc.) must be moved by two people. Furniture can not be removed from the space or building. All furniture needs to be put back from where it was moved in the studio.

Security cameras are located in the studio, the devices do not record, only monitor. There are also private changing rooms

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

We clean our studio in between sessions, provide hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies on-site for session use.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Disposable gloves
Disposable masks / face coverings
Hand Sanitizer

Just a few words to describe the space Beautiful Windows with a great view of the city, Spacious and Functional Shooting areas, A creators playhouse with various props and equipment available. Great location ample parking in secure building. Host was great and provided detailed instructions for my shoot day!!

This place is so versatile. It was really nice to take pictures with different backgrounds, capturing different decor, and themes. It was a large space in a big studio, and had great security aspects to enter the space. I do wish there was a way to adjust/dim some lighting in there but overall I definitely recommend. The house was responsive and gave the information that was necessary.
