About the Space

State of the art, private gym at 7000' elevation in Big Bear California. Live, sleep and train in a unique high altitude destination. Property features 600sf of mat space, padded walls, sauna, pullout thai bags, spacious mirrored locker room with PDX and more. Gym has bathroom with separate shower, laundry on-site with accommodations for extra sleeping area. Upstairs is a cozy 850sf one bedroom apartment. Full kitchen, queen size bed, bathroom, living room with pullout couch and outdoor balcony with Mountain Views. This is high altitude training at it’s best. Fully immerse yourself in the physiological benefits of being active well-above sea level. Bear City MMA Training Center is one of the only gyms of it’s kind in Southern California. Rent by the hour, night, week or longer! Special discounts for combined dates. Rates per night start at $600/night and include gym with apartment and cleaning fee. Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
  • High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
  • Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
  • A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
  • Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
  • Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
  • Disposable gloves
  • Disposable masks / face coverings
  • Hand Sanitizer
