Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

We have added cleaning processes in place to help keep the space clean and sanitized. Sanitization is done after each rental. Cleaning products are located in the room along with added Covid-19 supplies.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Hand Sanitizer

About the Space

Our professional creative studio space is a 14×11 feet or approximately 154 sq ft with 10 foot ceilings. It is a cozy, spacious and safe place for a Video Professional, Photographer and/or Creative to work by themselves, with peers or with their clients. BuzzLabs Creative Studio can be utilized for Interviews and Talking Head, Advertisements and Social Media Video Marketing, Live Streaming, Photo Shoots, Business Meetings and much more!!

Parking description

BuzzLabs Creative Studio is Located at the South East Corner of River St and Downer Place, kiddy corner to the west of our building is “Lot C” a Free 3 Hour Parking Lot as well as street parking available on River and Downer. If you’re renting our space during the week, we suggest you pay special attention to parking restrictions on the streets and in the public parking lots. The Stolp Island Parking Garage which is free for the first hour of parking and $1 each hour after the first with a max of fee of $5. If you’re looking for free parking, we suggest Lot C on River just south west of our building which is free for up to 3 hours, or the City Parking Lot next to Scitech Museum on Benton St. If you need to unload equipment you can park in front with your hazard lights on to unload your vehicle. Once unloaded you can park as normal in any of the spaces mentioned above.

Space does not have natural light

Lighting description

Our Studio uses all controlled lighting allowing you to shape and craft the light the way you want. We provide 5 constant lights that can be arranged anyway you light. We just ask that you put them back how you found them once you are finished.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

Our Space is not sound proofed but is usually very quiet. We are in a shared work space with 3 other independent businesses. However we do plan on adding some sound treatment in the future :)

Equipment loading description

To unload you my park directly in front of our main entrance on Downer with your vehicle's hazards on. Once unloaded you may park as usual.

Staging area is available

We have 2 lobbies perfect for staging and for extra talent to sit. We also have a large viewing window for guest to see what is going on inside the studio from outside the room

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

If you are looking to use space outside of our studio room please ask before using it. Most of the time spaces like our super interesting basement, conference room, and rest of the building are available but we do ask that you give us a call or email before your booking to have the space approved. as always the outside of our building is always available to use even without a booking its downtown Aurora its what we do! Come get creative!

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

Electrical system description

In case of power outage or electrical failure please call James or BuzzLabs for immediate assistance and compensation for your booking or a reschedule. In Case of electronical fire call 911 and local emergency services immediately then call James once emergency personals are on their way.

Circuit breaker can not be accessed

General Rules

All ages are allowed to work in this space All Ethnicities, genders, religions and sexualities are allowed in this space All Political Identities are allowed in this space You Should feel at home at BuzzLabs Studio Any Broken Equipment will be paid by the guest Any Damaged Equipment will be paid by the guest Any Missing or Lost Equipment will be paid by the guest Furniture and decorations may be moved to accommodate your work (Excluding the shelf) Anything can be moved just put it back where it was before Smokeless "Smoke" machines are allowed You may bring your own props. No open flames bigger than a candle flame are allowed Smoking is not permitted inside of our building. You can feel free to smoke on the side of our building or under the overhang next-door. Absolutely no operable guns or firearms are to be used as props in our space. All Guns should be treated as if they are loaded at all times and our space is no exception! Any exemption to our no operable gun prop policy can and will have legal consequences. Security cameras and recording devices are on 24/7 for your safety and ours. You have access to what is being recorded via our in house monitor but do not have the ability to delete playback or download from the monitor. If you need a copy of your session for any reason just ask us and we can provide it.

All ages are allowed in the space

Production insurance is not required

Furniture and decorations may be moved

All Furniture in the room can be rearranged according to your needs except our shelf on the left wall next to the door. This shelf houses cleaning supplies and our wifi system.

Security cameras and recording devices are on 24/7 for your safety and ours. You have access to what is being recorded via our in house monitor but do not have the ability to delete playback or download from the monitor. If you need a copy of your session for any reason just ask us and we can provide it.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
