COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

We clean and disinfect all surfaces professionally between bookings.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

About the Space

This space is a class A boutique recording studio located in a secluded corner of the Malibu mountains. Offering spectacular views, the studio feels like a wilderness escape while being only a short drive from LA. This studio is an ideal place to record an album. It's best suited for small ensembles or recording artists working closely with a producer/engineer. A mere 12 minutes from Malibu, a wide selection of restaurants can be ordered to our location. We have a Baldwin F grand piano, a vintage Gretsch drum kit, guitars/synths, a sit stand desk with ATC SCM25a loudspeakers, Neve, Chandler & Manley preamps and a high end mic locker. Feel free to inquire for a complete gear list. Bathroom, kitchen and green room are all located next door in the main house.

Ambient noise description

This studio is built with proper "room within a room" construction, double door, and double studio grade windows. It also has excellent acoustic treatment. The room has a lot of diffusion so it offers a room sound, but the listening position is dry enough for extremely detailed monitoring.

Electrical system description

The studio has its own sub panel which runs 20 amp circuits to the four corners of the room that all share the same ground.

General Rules

No smoking in the studio or on the property. Outside catering is allowed. No food or drinks in the studio, water is OK. Please keep both studio doors closed while tracking/monitoring

All ages are allowed in the space

Production insurance is not required

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Most of the things need to stay put. Furniture location/instrucments can be moved on a case by case basis.

No smoke machines allowed

Nudity is allowed

Security cameras and recording devices

The outdoor space has surveillance cameras for security.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
