Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

We have COVID-19 protocols printed out and placed in our lobby. We also clean and sanitize surfaces as well as provide masks and hand sanitizer. Masks are required at all times inside the studio space.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disposable masks / face coverings
Hand Sanitizer
Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels

About the Space

This is a production studio space for the Portland independent film community. We are also available for photography rentals. We have an 800 square foot studio space as well as a lobby area (200 square feet) that can be used as well. Our space has a fun, stylized, retro vibe we'd love to share with you.

Parking description

We have about five free parking spaces in our lot right outside of our studio. There is also free parking in the neighborhood behind us, which is very close and within walking distance.

Space does not have natural light

Lighting description

We do not have windows in the studio space or office. We have windows in the lobby but they are frosted for security reasons.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

We are off Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd so there is some road noise but we have sound panels in the studio and office space. We have received positive feedback from sound technicians and their ability to film in our space. We do not have noisy neighbors. Our heating does make a little noise but can easily be turned off.

Equipment loading description

We have two roll up garage in the studio space and one in the office space. This makes it very easy to back a car up and load gear in and out. We also have a front door. All of these are ground level. There are no stairs or ramps.

Staging area is available

The lobby is free to crew & talent.

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

Our office and storage room are off-limits.

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

Electrical system description

Our power rating is over 9000. Our circuit breaker is in a closet connected to the main studio space. We have outlets in all four sides of the walls in the studio. Three are typical outlets and the fourth is an outlet for older lighting such as a tungsten light. There are also many outlets in the lobby and office. We also can provide extension cords, power surge protectors, and different prong adapters.

Production insurance is not required

Furniture and decorations may be moved

You can move around anything to film as long as it gets put back the way you found it.

Smoke machines are allowed

Nudity is allowed

Security cameras and recording devices

We have two security cameras that are always on. One is in the bathroom hallway and one is in the lobby of our space.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
