About the Space
This building was once one of the last Detroit Breweries to survive after World War II. Built in 1891 as a famous brewery through the late 1960’s. This space was converted in 1970 to residential and commercial units and was among the first lofts offered in Detroit. Features of the building includes Soho style, soaring ceilings, over 100-year-old Terrazzo flooring and façade of classic Arched brick with intricate detailed Flint pottery tiles. These lofts are the tallest standing building in the Eastern Market and one of the show pieces in the City of Detroit. The Shades of Grey Loft is on the 6th floor of its building with exposed bricks and an open floor plan with 3 eating areas and multiple creative workspaces or relaxing vignette. This loft has a luxurious penthouse feel with beautiful art and curated furniture pieces.

This location was awesome. It was very clean, well furnished and very cool. The entrance is pretty inconspicuous, and the directions to get to the unit a little complex, but it is well worth it. Actually, it's a cool little adventure getting to the unit for the first time, sort of mysterious. The view of Detroit at night was spectacular. At first it is a little difficult to understand where you can park, but in reality it is pretty straight forward. The Host was great. He was responsive and helpful when we had any questions. I highly recommend

First thing first is that the loft is Amazing!!! Looks exactly as described in the photos. The host was very responsive and had instructions that were very easy to read. I booked a Photo/Video shoot here and the results from the shoot came out Fantastic!! Also, make sure that you have lights with you because it's very dim inside.
