This is a nature lovers retreat or perhaps a great spot for an artist or writer to settle in for a project. The space is one large room: open concept with many windows and a staircase up to a loft. This space is unique in its close proximity to the brook. Built in 2011, it was "grand-fathered" in to the former site of an 1800 year old barn of the same footprint. From the space you can hear the bubbling brook, you can watch a Kingfisher dive for a brook trout, or a Mallard or Merganser swim upstream with ducklings. Or in winter, watch a Mink scamper across the ice. There is a full kitchen, dining room table with 6 chairs, living room area and loft with a queen size bed. Peach, apple and pear trees surround the house. The Skunk Hollow Tavern is available for a delicious meal, almost directly down the driveway. Located in the heart of the village, this 672 sq foot space feels private and removed. It is listed as an AirBnB as well.
