The 1400sq ft. space is full of large bay style windows facing both west and south that let in tons of natural light. There are beautiful plants of all sizes, an earth tone color design, and mood lighting that keeps the place warm and inviting. It is our goal to pro fife design so it makes your decorating job way easier! We also provide enough seating and chairs for 30 guests, but the space can comfortably hold 60ish guests. This space can be used for a variety of gatherings, but the most popular are receptions, brunches, launches, vendor pop-ups, anniversaries, parties, birthdays, baby showers, photography sessions, meetings, and showcases. The space has useful amenities such as a two stainless steel prep tables, three bar height tables, four highboy tables, hi-speed internet, dimmable lighting, commercial sink, and lounge seating . Additional tables, chairs, and other equipment can be rented at your request. We offer a signature and soulful street taco style catering menu from our sister company, Taylor's Tacos. You can get on-site live service, buffet/family style, or pre-made taco, burrito, or quesadilla trays. Visit www.taylorstacoschicago.com to submit a catering form and you can get up to $100 off of your catering order ($250 minimum required). You are also welcome to bring in your own catered food for a nominal fee. The rental includes the space, 2 sofas, 2 moveable walls, commercial sink, 4 high boys, 3 bar height white tables, 17 stools, 2 wicker arm chairs, 2 stainless steel prep tables, 10 folding chairs, 2 trash cans, utility sink, and decorative candles. Six foot tables, speaker system, and additional chairs are available for rent. There is one ADA compliant restroom, as well as an ADA compliant entry in the back of the space.

I rented this space for a baby shower, and it was absolutely beautiful! The ambiance and decor were perfect, and it made the event feel extra special. Communication with the host was very clear and professional, which made the planning process smooth and stress-free. The only concern I had was the plumbing—there was a noticeable sewage odor. I ended up purchasing some air fresheners to mask the smell, which helped a lot. I would recommend the host consider updating the plumbing to avoid this issue in the future. Other than that, everything went perfectly, and I would still recommend this space for events!

The space was perfect for our event. It is bright and has large windows that provide a great breeze and an airy feel. There were plenty of surfaces and we were able to have multiple seating and food stations.

Maya prepared me well ahead of time with all information needed. Which was easy to refer to when forgotten. The space was clean and well stocked with toiletries and trash bags. The decor matched my safari themed event perfectly. My guest absolutely loved the space. I needed to reach out and Amaya responded quickly and was very helpful. I definitely recommend booking.

We had an opportunity to rent this space for our workshop and Back to School event. Thanks to the host for the space, which allowed us to give back to the community.

The space was fine. I just wished the chairs were place out at tables upon my arrival since I paid for the extra amenities.

The venue is nice, bright, clean and great for a small to medium sized gathering. The host is very responsive and the base price for the venue was reasonable for a 5-hour rental. However, all the add-on pricing felt like we were being nickel and dimed on amenities that should just come with an event space i.e,. it was an extra charge to use their fridge or speakers. My reasoning for removing a star comes down to day of event communication about a last minute pricing add-on. I had requested, a day or so before our event, that the refrigerator be on prior to our start time so that it was cold for the drinks that we would be stocking it with to be chilled before our guests arrived. The host had not realized our request to use the fridge had not been added to our contract prior to my message asking to have the fridge on. The host informed us shortly before our event that it would be a charge of $15 extra to use. While I appreciated she was trying to communicate the fee to me, it felt wrong to be having that conversation an hour before the start of our baby shower.
