About the Space
Photographers and content creators welcome!! HelCat Studios is proud member of the D Street Studios community, located next to Philly's historic Case Paper building in Harrowgate. The space is currently set up as a content creation studio with an open 1100 sq ft layout, 20 ft ceilings, multiple exposed brick walls, large windows, and restored 100 yr old hardwood floors. The minimalist open floor space allows for maximum flexibilty in genre and creativity. A full size bed on locking casters is available, great for boudoir and glamour shoots (BYOL or add the linens add-on during booking). The windows are southeast facing, which means direct light pours into the space during the morning hours year round (personal favorite). The space is moderately equipped with props, chairs, lighting and reflectors. An assortment of 5'x7' cloth and 6'x10' muslin backdrops are available for use. 107" paper seamless is available as an add-on. A variety of bed sets will be coming soon :) A small private dressing room is available for all models/clients to use, includes small make-up area, lights, mirror, wardrobe rack and most important privacy curtains. Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Cat's space was great; it had some nice gear available to use. Cat was very communicative and flexible with our needs. Only downside for video is that the space is quiet but not totally sound proof, and the building doesn't have an elevator. Other than that it was perfect and I would definitely rent Helcat Studios again.

Excellent host and a wonderful place to shoot. The brick is beautiful and even later in the day there is plenty of natural light. Everything is well kept, and there is tons of equipment if you need. Definitely look forward to shoot here again.
