History of the space Our cheese wedge shaped building has been many things during its lifetime. From a furniture warehouse, to a sign company, and now - a modern film studio. The space was founded by Gareth "Gaz" Leah (UK) and Phillip Hessler (USA) as a way of incubating new talent in Salt Lake. Our vision for this space is to spearhead the cultivation of local creatives, giving them access to the space and equipment they need to grow into their best self. Staying grounded to our urban roots, we installed a full size mini ramp - Our tool for filling our creative cups. We also have a Cable Nelson open top piano and rugged furniture that is reminiscent of a 1930's speak easy. Neighborhood details Situated on a relatively un-noticed back street, our building is surrounded by a growing art community and urban feels. The electric TRAX train system runs quietly past our front and its open street walkway offers local murals and brick architecture that is synonymous with street style. Logistics Our space has its own 8 space dedicated car park, sufficient to park 1 large motorhome and 2 cube trucks or 5 cubes trucks total. Over the road, there is a free public 60 space carpark. Inside, we have fold out tables and chairs, a double seated beauty station with a 6ft adjustable lighting mirror, a clothing rack, 2 large silk blue sofas with sheep skin rugs. When renting TMC, you have access to the entire studio warehouse. Information about past bookings While we're new to the public space, our studio has been operating for 2 years within our own production companies, and has acted as a creative petri-dish and unique offering to our clients. We've shot dozens of short commercials and interviews as well as hosted many creative gatherings and film launches.
