Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

All spaces are cleaned in-between rentals. The building is deep cleaned 3 times a week.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

About the Space

Professional theater located in a renovated 100-year old post office. This beautifully intimate space's design is lauded for "raising the bar for storefront theaters" by the Chicago Tribune and is perfect for: - Corporate Presentations - Off-site meetings - Screenings - Team Building - Training 1300 square feet with a stage size of 28' wide by 24' deep and 17' lofted ceilings. 120-person occupancy lobby includes option for full bar, snacks and coffee service. There are 3 separate theatrical stages each with a 96 seat capacity. Easy Transportation to the corner of Belmont and Racine - 3 blocks from Red, Purple and Brown "L" - Four bus lines - 29 parking spaces

Parking description

Theater Wit has $8 parking in our lot across the street. To find the lot, drive through the alley directly opposite our front door. There is also limited non-metered street parking available on Belmont and Lakewood.
