This beautiful and historic Grade-II listed building was founded in 1708, and is known as one of the birthplaces of modern Western feminism due to its connections to activist and writer Mary Wollstonecraft. As a UK registered charity, we re-invest our income from renting out our space into our charitable work and operations. The Main Hall is a glorious, renovated 18th century chapel hall with original pews and a modern, accessible, five-metre-wide stage, with lighting and a professional sound system. The Main Hall accommodates up to 130 people standing or seated. We have previously hosted photo shoots, film shoots and music video creation, so it's the ideal space for production, particularly as it features heigh ceilings and natural light. There is also an onsite piano which can be moved for use. The space is wheelchair accessible, excluding the viewing gallery. We require a fully refundable deposit of £300. This is to ensure that we can cover the costs of any damage that may be incurred during your booking, but will be fully refunded to you post event.
