Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

The space is fully disinfected between guests. If in the case of 'self cleaning' guests (only allowed for short meeting type bookings - not parties, weddings etc) we still have someone enter the space to disinfect.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Disposable gloves
Disposable masks / face coverings
Hand Sanitizer

About the Space

This space is a 3080 sq ft dedicated events space in a beautiful converted warehouse building on Republic Street in OTR, very close to Washington Park, and a couple of doors down from Salazar Restaurant, and our friends at Boombox Buns. This space takes its design cues from Somerset, its sister bar: Interesting furnishings and art from around the world, plenty of greenery and plant life, all mixed with classic design pieces in an industrial-chic setting. Available seven days a week for booking self-service private events.

General Rules

-Outside catering is allowed. We have a list of preferred caterers we can email over. -No bands allowed. -No outside sound systems or speakers allowed. - No smoking inside the building. -BYOB is allowed but is an additional charge of $16 per person. -A one time lockbox code and instructions will be emailed out the day before your event. - No Smoking inside the building. - Neighborhood noise ordinance in effect at 11PM. All clean up and tear down must be complete by then. NO EXCEPTIONS. -No overnight storage/items. We are not responsible for any items left overnight. - Bar service or BYOB requires additional fees. Sales tax and gratuity will be charged. Please contact us with an accurate headcount to get an estimate of costs. -Any event with alcohol requires a Somerhaus bartender present. -Please inquire about additional fees for any bar and food service. -Your event will be monitored via cameras/alarm system. -ALL EVENTS REQUIRE A REFUNDABLE $750 SECURITY DEPOSIT PAID VIA STRIPE. YOUR BOOKING IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL THIS IS PAID IN FULL. WE REQUIRE THIS PAYMENT UPON BOOKING. The full deposit will be refunded to you in 3-5 business days, as long as no damages or extra charges occurred.

Security cameras and recording devices

One Camera inside pointed at the entrance to the space. Audio sensor in the space to monitor sound levels at the time the neighborhood noise ordinance kicks in (11PM)

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
