About the Space

Beautiful, 850 sq.ft., open studio space for rent on the second floor above downstairs studio where yoga and meditation classes are held. The upstairs studio has many large windows, providing plenty of natural light, polished bamboo floors, French doors opening onto an upstairs patio, and central heating/air conditioning. Restrooms are downstairs and are shared with the downstairs yoga studio. We provide Wi-Fi or hardwire internet access. The following are available for use: • big screen TV • folding chairs • folding tables • folding desks • stereo with CD player • bluetooth speakers • WiFi • mini fridge Uses: • Film/Video Shoot • Photo Shoots • Commercials • Podcasts • Interviews • Product Shoots • Content Creation • Social Media • Youtube Filming • Tik Tok Videos • Blogging • Movies Ideal for daily or weekly classes; group exercises; workshops /seminars; meditation; yoga; counseling/psychology; quiet martial arts, such as tai chi; art; and community events. Location: Ideally located on Mount Vernon Avenue (the Avenue), in the heart of the popular Del Ray section of Alexandria, among restaurants, retail, wellness centers, music store, and banks. Plenty of dining choices in the neighborhood. Street parking is available on the Avenue, limited to two hours on weekdays and Saturdays; no restrictions on evenings or Sundays or on side streets. The pay parking lot is $2 across the street.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
  • High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
  • Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
  • Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
  • Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
  • Disposable gloves
  • Disposable masks / face coverings
  • Hand Sanitizer

It is as advertised, so you get what you see. Perfect space for meetings, small parties and of course exercise like activities. Gracious hosts and the room is on the second floor. We would book it again.

What a great space! We were able to utilize it for a private yoga & acoustics class for a bachelorette party. The hosts were lovely, they made us feel welcomed, answered all of our questions and gave us a tour of the space. The space itself was bright and airy, wonderful for smaller classes and workshops!

Ron and Tanja were amazing. Ron was very communicative throughout and kept me informed. Tanja met with me and allowed me to see the space beforehand. Also, Tanja provided a hbad in helping me put everything together. Very professional and I would definitely recommend to anyone.
