Story Conference Room Booking Agreement Carefully read the following terms and conditions regarding your conference room booking at Story Spaces LLC. By confirming this booking offer, you acknowledge your acceptance of the following terms and conditions. 1. Code of Conduct As a user of Story Spaces LLC conference room facilities, you and your organization agree to conduct business in a manner consistent with the following core values: - ACCOUNTABILITY: You are responsible for your actions and the actions of your staff. - TRANSPARENCY: Be honest, open, and mindful in your relationships and transactions. - EXCELLENCE: Do great work, serve people well, and act in the best interest of your clients and all users of our facilities. - COMPASSION: Honor each person, their perspective, and their journey in all interpersonal interactions. - DIVERSITY & INCLUSIVITY: Everyone's experience is important and adds value to our community. Honor, support, and serve everyone with the same level of respect and care. Failure to conduct business or act in a manner consistent with these values may result in your booking being revoked. 2. Use a. You acknowledge that you are using Story Spaces LLC conference room facilities at your own free will and decision. Story Spaces LLC does not have any liability with respect to your use of the facilities or any loss of information resulting from such use. b. You will not use the facilities for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms and conditions. You may not use the facilities in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair any of Story Spaces LLC's property or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the facilities. 3. Operating Standards The Operating Standards posted at the Premises are made an integral part of this Agreement. You, your employees, agents, guests, and invitees shall abide by these Operating Standards and any amendments or additions thereto as Story Spaces LLC may make. 4. Confidentiality You agree to maintain the confidentiality of any information you may be exposed to during your use of the facilities that is non-public, confidential, or proprietary in nature. 5. Payment - Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve the space. - We accept payment by credit card, bank transfer, or other methods as specified during the booking process. 6. Cancellation and Refunds - Cancellations will not be refunded in cash or to the original payment method. - The value of canceled bookings can be used as credits towards other bookings or services offered by Story Spaces LLC. - Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. - Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 7. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Story Spaces LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of our facilities. 8. Indemnification You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Story Spaces LLC and our affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of your use of the facilities or violation of this Agreement. 9. Force Majeure Story Spaces LLC shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, or government actions. 10. Miscellaneous a. This Agreement embodies the entire understanding between the parties and shall not be modified except in writing signed by both parties. b. This Agreement is subject to and subordinate to any lease governing the Premises. c. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Any legal proceedings shall be exclusively venued in Jefferson County. d. If any part of this Agreement is determined to be void or unenforceable, the remainder of this Agreement shall remain in effect. By accepting this booking agreement you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions of this Story Spaces LLC Conference Room Booking Agreement.
