About the Space

A thousand square-foot open room with beautiful dark wood flooring, comfy couches and chairs, a powerful 3 ton mini-split A/C, ceiling fans, fully adjustable smart lights, 15 inch PA speakers with rich bass, and HEPA air filtration. There is also a kitchen area and ADA-compliant bathroom. Discount for regular bookings. Please note that this property also has an outdoor space which is available to rent separately. Both spaces share the front entrance, kitchen, and bathroom. Parking description

There is plenty of street parking within one block of the space. The diagonal spaces in front of the elementary school at Marlborough and Hyde Park are available for public parking. If you are renting before 3pm on Wednesdays or Thursdays, take note of street cleaning signs.

General Rules

-There is no additional setup or cleanup time included in your rental; you will gain access to the space at the start time, and all guests and property must be gone from the building by the end time listed on your booking. Overtime will be booked at 1.5x normal rate, in 30 minute increments. -No smoking inside. -No glitter or confetti; additional cleaning fee will apply. -The mirrors are can't be leaned against, or have furniture up against them or they may break. -Food and drink spills must be cleaned up right away; additional cleaning fees may be incurred if not. -All trash must be bagged and taken to the containers behind the shed in the backyard -We generally do not book events that go past midnight. For rare exceptions there is a significant additional fee. -To avoid damage to the space we cannot book events that feature heavy drinking. -If you want to move the furniture, please ask in advance and return it to its original location when finished; the DJ desk cannot be moved.

Security cameras and recording devices

We have a Simplisafe system with cameras in the main dance floor, the kitchen, as well as in the front and back of the building. We only check the camera recordings in the event of a significant incident.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Health and Safety Measures

The space is cleaned regularly, but guests are responsible for leaving the space as they found it, to avoid additional cleaning fees. All trash must be bagged and taken to the containers behind the storage shed in the backyard. The mirrors cannot be touched in any way. No glitter or confetti please. An additional cleaning fee of $100 will be charged if handprints are found on mirror, or there is glitter or confetti left behind.

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
