This historic foundry and factory dates back to the late 1800s and is full of industrial charisma and vintage charm. Perfect for photoshoots, film, events, video shoots, gatherings and more. Located in downtown East Point along the railroad tracks, minutes from the Atlanta Airport. The main building "Atlanta Utility Works" is a 20,000 square foot factory / warehouse that was in its prime during the turn of the century through the 1940's. Choose from over 10 different heavy-duty large mechanical machinery complete with gears, gadgets, wheels and clamps. Fifty foot ceilings, exposed brick, rusted steel and old framed windows give this space tons of old-world charm for a variety of appealing looks. The "Foundry Ruins" space is available for out door style events such as, cocktail parties, launch events, weddings, meetings, garden parties and more. The 135 year old brick still stands but the foundry was burned in a fire, enhancing the rustic vibes even more. The "Foundry Ruins" space is completely outdoors and near a train track. It measures about 3,000 square feet and fits up to 200 people comfortably. The South building is a 7,000 square foot barn type building with authentic dirt floors and steel beams. Connected to the large field / urban farm this space is definitely the most industrial and rustic of the three spaces available.

It does not look like what it does in pictures. It was still pretty cool, however the pictures make it look much crazier than what it really is. And i book in Peerspace quite a lot and this is the most expensive space I’ve used and it isn’t worth that much at all. And we felt like a bother being there or like we were in the way even though it should’ve been all ours. They had a whole construction team out there while we were there. Very disappointed.

Loud construction across the street and music blaring over speakers on the property meant no sound was able to be used from our production. Melanie and others walked into the space multiple times during our shoot while we were rolling without warning. The place looked amazing but everything else was not good. My worst experience from peerspace so far. I would have rather paid more money for a better location.
