Up to 16 guests can enjoy a meal together here. Save yourself the stuffiness and expense of a restaurant, and avoid the hassle of making reservations for a large group. This is the workshop gallery of Florian Roeper, a renowned artist and craftsman. When our family planned a dinner, we were looking for a unique and extraordinary place. When I found Lumber Shed I new I had to check it out. It was also impossible for us to get a dinner reservation for our group of 10 anywhere else in such a short notice, so this worked out perfectly. And best of all, we were able to stay for as long as we wanted without any pressure of getting booted out. It was truly a distinctive experience, definitely different then a regular restaurant. We were surrounded by beautiful, enormous pieces of wood with rustic atmosphere and eclectic soundtrack, which would take us to totally different place. I highly recommend Lumber Shed for any kind of gathering.

I planned a surprise birthday dinner for my wife and it was an evening that we will not forget! Florian made some great recommendations for local caterers and the whole process went smoothly. What a beautiful venue!!

The Lumber Shed is so cool! We wanted to do more of a DIY meal, so Florian suggested a lavish charcuterie picnic which we assembled at the Oxbow Market, which is a 5-minute walk. Fresh oysters from Hog Island, cheese and salami, olives, baguette, salads, cupcakes and of course a couple cases of wine. We were 12 guests total, family and friends, and no restaurant could have come close to this experience, especially considering our large group size. We like to sit for hours together, more European style, without being under pressure to pay the bill. I think we saved quite a bit of $$$ too!!

If we had to sum it up in one word... WOW! The Lumber Shed is truly a special place, and it was just a couple minutes walking distance from the Westin Hotel where we stayed. Everyone at our dinner party had no idea what to expect and it's pretty clear that this evening will stand out as one of the most memorable ones from the whole Napa trip. Florian did a great job as a host and we hired an amazing local caterer.
