COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings to make sure everything is clean and sanitized for each event.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Hand Sanitizer

About the Space

The Slate is a media-focused coworking space in the Dallas Design District. We offer a fully equipped production studio, podcast studio and zoom room. Our coworking space includes private offices, dedicated desks, and flexible workspaces. While also having a 1,200 sq. ft. event space that comes fully equipped with AV, microphones, a kitchenette, 15 tables, and 110 chairs. This space can also open up to our production studio, adding 2,000 sq. ft. of space to your event or adding a "hybrid" option with the use of our studio. We also offer event space in our flexible area that can be used for networking, mingling, and catering options - this space comes equipped with a full-size kitchen.

Free onsite parking is available. We also have ample street parking available, and with notice can reserve our neighbors parking lot for larger events!

General Rules

- No smoking, candles, or flames in the building - No bicycles, vehicles, or animals - Individuals must have to sign a release and be accompanied by a guardian. - All events must be approved by Slate staff - All deliveries must be coordinated through The Slate

All ages are allowed in the space

Security cameras and recording devices

Our security cameras record live video and store footage for up to 3 months after recording. These cameras are on each corner of our building and very thorough.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
