My space is professionally cleaned before and after each booking.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Hand Sanitizer

About the Space

The elevator opens directly into this full floor loft in a recently gut renovated building that was once the home and studio of the acclaimed artist Louise Nevelson. Boasting a wall of stunning floor to ceiling windows in both the front and the back, the apartment is flooded with sunlight. The open plan living area is decorated with an eclectic mix of art and furniture including a De La Espada sofa as well as a dinning table and credenzas from Herman Miller. The sleek kitchen features white lacquer cabinets, marble counter tops and stainless steel appliances, and the two bedrooms open on to the large outdoor deck. Located close to Thompkins Square Park in the historic, vibrant and artist-filled East Village, the loft is in the midst of an eclectic mix of popular restaurants, cafes, shops, bars and speakeasies. Both the loft and the neighborhood make the perfect backdrop for any and all creative projects.

Parking description

There is parking on my street. The south side has street cleaning Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 to 12:30 and the North side has no street cleaning restrictions. There is a parking garage that is a five minute walk to my place and another that is a seven minute walk.

General Rules

No smoking in the apartment, on the balcony, in the building, or within 300 feet of the entrance Do not leave the front door to the building open even while loading and unloading Do not hold the elevator while loading or unloading. If held too long it can shut down and it is also an inconvenience to the other people living in the building Residents always have priority of use of the elevator. Please be respectful of them Do not block the entry way with equipment, etc. while loading or unloading. Do not leave equipment, etc. in the entry way or elevator Use caution when loading and unloading equipment in and out of the elevator Please do not scratch the floors of the apartment with equipment. Tape paper to the floor or use felt pads on legs/stands of all equipment Please avoid scratching the walls when moving equipment, etc. around the apartment
