Cool estetic. I needed a little help working door passcodes. It worked inconsistently. Once in AC was off with no remote. Diamond eventually found a work around that suited my needs. I appreciate her fast response. Overall I was happy bcuz my photos came out great!

I booked Eli’s studio on February 19th for a photoshoot. With me was my makeup artist. We both arrived on time and were able to get in the building just fine. The code provided to me for the studio itself however, did not work and we were unable to get into the studio. My only option was to call Eli, which I did several times to no avail. After some time, I got a phone call from someone who provided access to the studio and was given extra time for the space. My photographer however, was not able to stay beyond the time scheduled as he had other commitments. Not being able to access the studio at our allotted time was a major setback and not only created high stress for all of us there, but completely changed the mood during the time spent. Everything from makeup and hair to the shoot was rushed. I prepared and planned extensively for my shoot. From dieting, purchasing outfits that I did not even have a chance to wear, organizing a time, date and location that worked for everyone, etc. I’m sure you can agree, a lot of thought, time, and money goes into a photoshoot. At any rate, I understand these things happen. My real gripe is that after explaining the situation to Eli, there has yet to be a resolution to date. I thoroughly explained the incident that occurred and had no problem letting it go if this mishap was handled properly. Instead I was simply ignored. I am disappointed by the lack of respect and professionalism. With all the options in NYC, look elsewhere and avoid booking here and having to go through this nightmare.

The space was great, and as described. Communication was consistent. Getting into the space was seamless and simple. Someone was there to help us when we had questions or needed anything. We recorded an interview here, and there was some noise from other rented studios, but overall we didn't have any major issues with sound. You could sometimes hear a siren from the street, but overall it was quiet. Just a little noise here and there. We knew that could be the case before we rented the space, so there were no surprises. Very happy with the space and the audio/video recorded there.
