About the Space
Our space is a fully-furnished event space surrounded by natural stone and warm industrial lighting. The luxurious lounge furniture and large wood bar bring to life the prohibition style era. The soft seating area can be rearranged (not removed) and is a perfect addition to the timeless feel of the past. The Speakeasy offers vendor flexibility, a BYOB bar option, hourly rentals starting at 4 hours, a kitchenette with an ice machine, Gender Neutral Restrooms with Common Sinks and Vanities, and a Client Concierge to answer questions for you during the planning process.

Parking description
There is ample and free parking available within two blocks of UNION. We highly recommend taking the free Kansas City Streetcar for a true Kansas City experience, or catching an Uber so you can travel worry-free.

Security cameras and recording devices
We have security cameras that record videos in public spaces only. These are on during events to protect us and our clients.
Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Health and Safety Measures
The Speakeasy at UNION has professional cleaners that come in between events to do a full cleaning of the space.
Enhanced cleaning measures:
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
