About Mata Hari House

The History of Mata Hari House In 2021, the owner found a multi room storage and warehouse in the heart of the Design District and flipped the entire space to be a luxury venue and art gallery. The style is 1920s contemporary so it has a dark and moody vibe with a lot of gold and velvet accents mixed with a modern flair. The space is configured to be like a house with many different rooms (Main Banquet, Private Dining Room, Tea Room, English Parlor, Gallery Lounge, Catering Kitchen, Covered Patio with ivy walls, and 2 beautiful Powder Rooms. Mata Hari House is fully finished with thoughtfully curated interior design. Neighborhood Mata Hari House is located in the heart of the Design District next door to many popular restaurants. We are a 2 min walk from Carbone and The Charles, and a 5 minute walk from TownHearth, El Bolero, Meddlesome Moth, Ascension Coffee, and the Pie Tap. Logistics Mata Hari House has an abundance of private parking onsite. We are a fully furnished space meaning couches, chairs, tables, and decor are all included. Each room can fit a different amount of guests. All together, the space can hold up to 100 people. OUR ROOMS – Main Banquet : Disco ball installation, bohemian rug stage area, seating areas with couches chairs and rugs. Private Dining Room : 16ft mahogany table, credenza, wet bar, crystal chandelier and sconces, 10 ft Picasso rendition acrylic painting, additional art works are hung and for sale. Tea Room : Light pink walls, cherry blossom installed ceiling, sitting booths, bistro tables, Art Nouveau mural, and additional works of art are hung. English Parlor : 1920s styled room with gorgeous wooden game table, wood mantel, deco chandelier, standing bar, and works of art. Gallery Lounge : Sitting area with listed artwork for sale and low lighting. Catering Kitchen : Large prep room with painted Veuve champagne mural, two stainless steel prep tables, icebox, large fridge and full kitchenette. Powder Rooms : Two decorated power rooms. One is light pink with oriental stork wallpaper and 1920s sconces. The other is jasper green with alligator wallpaper and gold chandelier. Patio : Our outdoor patio is well lit at night and has gorgeous brick walls covered with lush ivy. Across the street holds a light up sculpture garden and you can see the entire Downtown Dallas skyline from here.

We have cleaners in between each event and also have cleaning supplies on hand for guests to utilize.

Cancellation Policy

Standard 30 day

Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
