Food and Alcohol Policies: We offer a variety of options including our preferred catering list, bringing in your own catering team, or purchasing our rental package with in-house staffing. Alcohol is permitted on the premises, provided it is served by a licensed caterer. In 2021, the owner found a multi room storage and warehouse in the heart of the Design District and flipped the entire space to be a luxury venue and art gallery. The style is 1920s contemporary so it has a dark and moody vibe with a lot of gold and velvet accents mixed with a modern flair. The space is configured to be like a house with many different rooms. Mata Hari House is fully finished with thoughtfully curated interior design. Neighborhood Mata Hari House is located in the heart of the Design District next door to many popular restaurants. We are a 5-10 min walk from Carbone, The Charles, TownHearth, El Bolero, Meddlesome Moth, Ascension Coffee, and the Pie Tap. Logistics Mata Hari House has an abundance of street parking out front as well as private parking in the back for clients and vendors. We are a fully furnished space, meaning couches, chairs, and tables are all included. Altogether, the space can hold up to 200 people and can accommodate either a cocktail-style event or a seated engagement. OUR ROOMS – Grand Entrance : Stunning white marble flooring and giant brass chandelier with carpeted steps. The perfect entrance and photo area. Main Banquet : Our largest room includes space for your custom floor plan, a beautifully curated lounge area, our XL mahogany bar (fits up to 3 bartenders), and disco installation and dance floor area. Dining Room : 16ft mahogany table, credenza, wet bar, dessert corner, crystal chandelier and sconces, 10 ft Picasso rendition acrylic painting, additional artworks are hung and for sale. Prep Kitchen : Large prep room equipped with stainless steel prep tables, full kitchenette (microwave, stainless steel double sink, standing ice box, and fridge), we offer private parking in the back for our vendors as well as a loading ramp. Powder Rooms : Fun curated bathrooms highlighting old black and white photography. We always have the lights dimmed and a candle lit.
