Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

The Ranch is cleaned after every booking to prepare for the next guests. We ask that the guest : - Take out the trash before checking out. The garbage bins are past the carport on the left of the main house. Fill the dishwasher and set to clean before leaving. Please be sure that the dishwasher is full before starting.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Hand Sanitizer

About the Space

Built in 1974, The Ranch is a 5 acre (fully gated) desert compound with stunning mountain views, conveniently located only 15 minutes from downtown Palm Springs. Guests have full access to the entire 5 acre property for all creative purposes, from films to photoshoots, writing, private dinners and so much more. As you enter the property, to your left are two art studios that guests do not have access to. There are 3 train cars that can be used in films and photoshoots, but inside is off limits. There is also a small studio to the east of the main house across the bridge that is off limits to guests, however the bridge is available for use. Guests have access to the main house with 2 bedrooms, and 2.5 baths, a full chefs kitchen, living, dining, and family room. There are sculptures around the property and we ask that guests be respectful of the artists work and they can be used in any film or photo shoots. This space is open to all looking for a peaceful place to explore all their creative needs. We are all here to create and share beautiful work in this desert oasis. Parking description

Once you enter the property, 2 cars can fit under the carport in front of the main house. There is a lot of space for at least 5-10 cars. This is a dirt road, so please be cautious about the cars that will be coming to this spot.

Lighting description

There is lots of natural lighting in the main house. There are floor to ceiling windows in the living, dining, and guest rooms. On all these windows there are paper blinds that can cover all the screens. They are not blackout blinds, but they do offer a significant amount of shade.

Space is not soundproof

The Ranch is a space that does not have much noise pollution around. We do have neighbours, but they are not loud and the space very peaceful.

The loading zone is at the main entrance to the house. Loading trucks will need a ramp if needed.

Electrical system description

There are multiple outlets around the house (inside and outside) that can be used. If there are specific ratings that need to be used, please contact us.

General Rules

• No pets allowed • No smoking indoors • Guests must provide additional insurance and permits for all vendors • All rentals include setup and teardown time • If furniture has been moved, it must be moved back to its original place • No moving of sculptures/ artwork inside and outside of the house • Guest must remove all belongings and equipment they bring into the space by the end of the booking time • Guests must clean up after themselves (i.e. taking out the trash and filling the dishwasher) before leaving • Front door must be locked upon departure from the space. Please use the lockbox and key codes provided.

Security cameras and recording devices

Yes, there is one camera at the front door and another in the back yard. There are no cameras inside of the house.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
