About the Space
Video shoots Photo shoots Modeling Acting Dancing This space is located inside of Morningstar Storage with a nice size unit to deliver stunning images and video. It has all powered remotes on retractable cables, so everything is easy to use and turn on. Each remote controls a different look. There will be two “RGB GMV Light Panels” provided, along with a fog machine and 4 magnetic tube lights that can be attached to the wall or customized for floor use. There are 1 paper backdrop with a draw down chain. On the nature wall there are 3 systems of lights to light the look. You will also find a multi prong outlet, a yellow wheel extension cord unit and one extra extension cord. Bring any extra lights at your own discretion. *BATHROOMS ARE LOCATED ON THE 1ST AND 3RD FLOOR.

The space LOOKED cool and did work for our photos, however it was an extremely tight space for 6 people + our lighting, and if I’d known it wasn’t air conditioned I would’ve booked elsewhere. It was a very hot, stuffy, uncomfortable shoot. Fans don’t exactly help when they’re just blowing hot air. Surprised at how small the space was when it allowed 6 people and said it works for videos & dancing, was also surprised there were no washrooms. Oh well, we got the content we needed we just weren’t very stoked with the all around experience.

SSS studio was a great space for our project! Several backdrops, lighting, and tools to really fulfill what we were looking for. Drove 3 hours from Raleigh, and it was worth every mile. Free advice, get an extra hour so you’re not rushed. They give you time up front and on the back end to set up and tear down, but when them creative juices start flowing, you’re not gonna wanna leave. So make sure you put that into consideration. I’ll be doing more business with them forsure. Highly recommended.
