About the Space

Space: This gem is located on the 3rd floor of a walkup located in the heart of Little Caribbean in Flatbush, Brooklyn. The living room is bright and airy, with all white walls and a quaint feel. The flood of light coming into the space during the day sets a perfect scene for lifestyle & portrait shoots. The hallway is painted a beautiful turquoise color. The bathroom has a classic NYC vibe with black and white tile. There is a full kitchen with cookware that can be used if you are filming for YouTube or similar platforms. There is also a backdrop stand and backdrop paper in green, yellow & white, perfect for a small photo or video shoots. The bedroom can also be used but is not set up with bedding or additional bedroom furniture. That room can easily be used as a hair/makeup station and changing area if needed. Neighborhood: The apartment is located in a busy Flatbush neighborhood, a 4-minute walk from the 2/5 train. It is 2 stops away from Flatbush junction & 15-minutes away from Atlantic Center. *Please note, we are located in a vibrant community so this is not a soundproof space. For video filming, we highly recommend bringing great audio recording equipment. Parking: There is free street parking. Alternate side rules apply. Details: There are three outlets in the living room and multiple throughout the space. There are two flights of stairs to enter the space. The apartment is the 1st one on the left once you get to the 3rd-floor landing. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants for lunch/delivery. Complimentary filtered water is in the fridge. There is a 5-guest maximum. Larger groups may be considered on a case-by-case basis and there would be an additional fee of $50 per person added to your booking amount.

FILMING, PHOTO SHOOTS & PRODUCTION Please be upfront with your booking request so we can best accommodate your shoot. Please include the following in your inquiry: * Total number of attendees * Desired date(s) * Exact hours you will need, including load-in/load-out, setup, and breakdown * Equipment & lighting specs Other Things to Note: *In-home furniture MUST be returned to its original location in the home. Outside props are welcomed. *No Smoking is permitted. We want all guests to experience a clean, smoke-free environment. There is a $300 additional cleaning fee if smoke is detected. *Music is permitted but must be kept at a reasonable level so as to not disturb the residents of the apartment building. *No Pets allowed. *Renter must leave the studio as they found it. *Guest must dispose of garbage and recycled items according to city laws. *The floor has to be in “Broom condition." *Dishes should not be left in the sink. There will be an additional $50 cleaning fee if dishes are found. Supplies to clean dishes are available. *The space is available Sunday through Saturday from 8am-8pm. *All bookings start and end times are inclusive of setup and breakdown time. *Front door must be shut firmly and locked. Keys MUST be returned to the lockbox located outside of the home. There is a $100 fee for keys not being returned. *No additional guest will be permitted outside of the amount noted in the booking. *Guest is responsible for all equipment, facilities, amenities, and the unit itself during their stay. Any loss, damage, or theft of any of the properties mentioned above is the sole responsibility of the Client/Renter, and they will be charged for the amount of replacement/repair immediately. *Upon booking, the guest provides limited rights to use of photos, film, and other media from session or shoot, for promotional use.
