About the Space

The Historic Maison James is a 19th Century Masonic Lodge that has been re-envisioned to be a modern multi-use event space and photography studio. At Maison James we want to offer the opportunity for people to gather, create, educate and connect. 2000 square feet including large open floor plan, retractable CYC wall, one dedicated wall of floor to ceiling mirrors, full kitchen, green room, bathrooms, brick patio enclosed outdoor courtyard and dedicated parking. In addition, we have offer full service onsite equipment for photography rentals if needed. The space is ideal for gatherings, meetings, production, photoshoots, educational events, pop-up markets, wellness classes, dance, yoga, day retreats, pop up dinners, live music and entertainment events.

Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
  • High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
  • Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
  • Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
  • A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Yes, I would book again.

I had my 30th birthday celebration here and the space was perfect. So spacious and loved the aesthetic. Anna was so helpful and accommodating during the entire process. She was very quick to respond. I would definitely book this venue again.
