Classic ranch style home, minus the ranch. Traditional / transitional aesthetic with modern finishes and an eye towards details. Bright, airy kitchen opens up to the spacious backyard filled with garden beds, lush grass, and multiple seating areas. Views of surrounding Lucas Valley hills. The kitchen has a 10 foot island with dark soapstone adorned with traditional cabinetry and glass shelving with chinoiserie dishware. The adjacent breakfast nook gives all the quaint english countryside vibes. The dining room is a stunning modern space with a beautiful Serena and Lily chandelier that makes quite a statement. The converted garage is perfect for stashing all equipment needed for shooting.

Parking description

Can fit up to 4 cars in the two driveways. Plenty of free street parking as our house is on a cul-de-sac.

Lighting description

All windows have white shutters on them. The natural light can be controlled by shutting the shutters as well as pulling down the curtain in the kitchen. The brightest times of the day depend on the season.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

You can hear neighbors if they're gardening, being loud - but generally this is a very quiet neighborhood. We are not far from Lucas Valley Road which is a high traffic road and sometimes you can hear cars and motorcycles. The only appliances that make any noticeable noise if the refrigerator (basic). The AC will make noise if it turned on, but again, basic humming / air.

The entrance does have a little step. We have a normal front door.

Staging area is available

The converted garage can be used for makeup, wardrobe, etc. We can also chat through what you need and we can make the master bedroom and bath accessible.

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

The nursery is off limits due to hygiene.

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

Circuit breaker can be accessed

General Rules

No smoking. No drugs. No high heels - anything that would damage the hardwood flooring (unless for a photoshoot).

Production insurance is not required

Furniture and decorations may be moved

There is one Nest Outdoor camera outside the front door. This records video.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Deep clean in-between guests as this is where our family lives with a small child.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
