About the Space
This two-story open plan space features a living and dining area which open completely on to a private deck and small garden. Tall, wall-to-wall glass doors create the perfect indoor-outdoor gathering. Perfect for cocktail parties, dinners, or film or photo shoots. An antique restored piano is tuned and ready to fill the house and yard with music. Plants and artwork are abundant in this spacious and welcoming home. The light-filled loft reading area overlooks the main space, offering a perfect nook for peaceful moments or enjoying the party below you. Patio features comfortable seating around an outdoor gas fire table. Dining table comfortably seats 8 to 10. Tucked back behind other homes to create a small private oasis feeling, the house was built in 2021. It's a modern space decorated in a fresh but bohemian style, with paintings by local artists and international art from my travels. I work in the arts/academia and live here with my two children. Our home has superb natural lighting, and manages to feel both spacious and cozy, modern and warm. It offers great angles and ease of load-in, either for your gear and costume racks, or caterers. From the main living area there is a charming half bath; a full bathroom is located downstairs off the master bedroom, or upstairs off the reading loft. Please note, bedroom usage is an add-on.

Really wonderful experience and space! I hosted my graduation party here with the max amount of people. We had catering, drinks, and even used the piano to perform. The indoor/outdoor setting was amazing and everyone was so impressed by the home. Check in and check out was easy. Would 100% book again.

The space was so cozy, clean, and cute!! All my guests loved Jean’s space. She was kind and I could not have been happier with the space! The yard was also really nice, I’m bummed I personally couldn’t use it (it was raining and wet on the day we rented but I could only imagine how cool it would’ve been if we had nicer weather, so we could leave the sliding door open.) Hopefully, we’ll be back when we need another space to rent because it was perfect.

Jean was very responsive and answered our questions promptly. The space was exactly as pictured when we arrived. Very clean and had a warm inviting feel. The indoor-outdoor interface worked perfectly for our son's 1st birthday party. We had about 20 people show up and it felt just right with everyone able to find seating and have a good time. We would definitely recommend Jean's home and would book again ourselves.

We booked the space for four hours for a Baby shower with 15 attendees. If you’re thinking about booking a similar event, look no further at this place is absolutely perfect. Two bathrooms, a long countertop where you can set up for food, a table that you can add leaves to for larger parties to sit down and play games, and the outdoor space was a wonderful touch. I would highly recommend this event space. The free street parking didn’t hurt either!!

This is a beautiful space, my guests were impressed. The house and yard are exactly as in the photos, comfortable and well equipped. The garden is lovely. We had a total of 20 people and there was enough room, including 6 kids running around. Jean is a gracious host and was very helpful, providing extra folding tables and table cloths to supplement what we brought. The main problem was I couldn't get my guests to leave on time, because they loved it so much!
